Wagyu Brisket at Costco
« on: March 13, 2024, 06:09:19 PM »

Went to Costco today and saw something I haven't seen before. Waygu brisket!  $6.99 is expensive, but seemed reasonable for Wagyu. Looking at it side by side with the Choice brisket that they had, it looked pretty good. Still couldn't pull the trigger though.

Yeah, double the price of Choice here.  I still think I would have done it.  Just because the last brisket I did was so good, but I had to give it all away!

Given the time and monetary investment; I don't see myself doing a choice brisket ever again.   I'm thinking a once a year type of occasion where I'd go to Costco Wagyu or Snake River Farms.

Kicking myself since I have read your responses!  6.99 is worth it for Wagyu, particularly considering the time required. I will have to check back at Costco.
