Interesting German Pellet grill
« on: December 10, 2017, 11:50:30 AM »

Found this browsing Amazon. Very different design and way to expensive for me but I thought it was interesting.

They have different models on their website, all with the same basic design.

Wow - that's a blast from the past..

A discussion about these units was on the 'other - now defunct' web site.  Seems like these were in the development stages then and were just about to see the 'light of day'.

It will be interesting to see if these draw any interest in the 'boutique' market.

Thoughts.....

Almost has a steam punk vibe to it. Interesting that the controls aren't digital.

Like the wood, though that would be a unit to keep out of the elements at all times. More form than function?

Seems a bit pricey at 5k for what you get...

Been around for about 10 years...was $6000, back when we had a thread on Pelletheads.com.  As I recall, it some how turns the burned pellets into a gas and that is what the combustion is.
