I used to have to order mine online at $1/lb, but now I can find them easily at my local Menards and Rural King for no more than .50/lb.

Was pleasantly surprised couple days ago.
With the bitter cold we've been having the price of the heating pellets I use actually
went down.
Nice to know local hardware store isn't price gouging.
$4 even, for 40lb.
After tax price, just under .11 per lb.
