What have you used to stuff a meatloaf
« on: September 21, 2017, 06:57:19 AM »

This thread was inspired by Queball's meatloaf recipe.

I have used:
- ham & Swiss
- jalapeño and cream cheese
- mushroom,bacon & cheese
- cheese

I have done these wrapped with bacon & naked.

What have you stuffed these with.

For stuffing, are you using things which have already been cooked and are just heated through when the meatloaf is cooked?  I wonder if you could use mashed potatoes ?

I've not been creative enough to even think of stuffing a meatloaf, but certainly will now thanks to the fine ideas in these topics

I mean no disrespect to those that stuff, but I do not feel a meatloaf should be stuffed, just screws up the sandwiches.  Now a stuffed steak, like my buddy Rich who's family owned Nicola's in Fresno way back when...what a treat!
