How Wide Is Your Blackstone Griddle?
« on: March 06, 2018, 08:55:48 PM »

Will a four-burner Blackstone griddle easily go through a sliding door that opens 29 inches?

If I take the handles off of the sliding door it will add another 2¾ inches to the opening, but that would be annoying if I had to do it every time it went out or in.

Thanx, R.  Now the only problem will be rolling it across the threshold.

Thanx, R.  Now the only problem will be rolling it across the threshold.

Cut a piece of wood on a 45° angle and make it as wide as your opening and high as your threshold and use it as a ramp to pull your griddle over.  My Dad made me one for my backdoor of my garage to my patio that I use to pull my Elite over the threshold.  I put it in place and pull it out as needed.

I don't know how tall you are or how tall the cooking surface is, but maybe find new larger casters and put on it to make it easier to roll over things

Bar-B-Lews idea should work well.

The griddle comes with 4" wheels that are good quality. Much better than my Weber gasser has.

I doubt you would need to replace them.

The griddle top on my 4 burner Blackstone just sits on pegs on the frame. It is removable and the base frame is a lot lighter to move that way.

Thanks for the welcome.

I signed up a while ago but the weather and life have got in the way of doing anything pellet related. After the xxxxxx weather last summer I am looking forward to getting some outdoor cooking done.

I have the four burner and the two burner. Top comes off and legs fold up on both. Way easier to move that way.
