pit boss control board mystery
« on: July 12, 2018, 08:32:02 PM »

I was wondering if anyone out there can shed some light on or identify this controller that is on my Pit Boss 700FB?
I have looked at a lot of them and cannot find any grills out there that have this style of a controller without the P setting
adjustment hole. This controller came with an optional external meat probe input connection and no P setter. Has anyone seen this before? the controller works just fine it's just that there are no controllers out there that look like this one on my grill.

You may just want to call Louisiana and ask them. Pit Boss is a knock off from them.

Otherwise I wouldn't worry to much about it if it works fine. Sometimes when messing with P settings isn't always a good thing. I left it alone when I had My Traeger. It worked fine, For a Traeger.
