So over the weekend I made BBQ chicken, cornbread, baby back ribs and beans. Tonight I grilled a 1 1/2 inch porterhouse to medium rare and served with baked potato and my version of vegetable ratatouille. IMO the porterhouse is the best bang for the dollar as it gives you a great sirloin and filet mignon on one piece. Of course my wife gets the filet mignon. [ Invalid Attachment ]

i buy the porterhouse for the same reason and my wife gets the fillet too which is ok by me as i like the strip steak better

Wonderful steaks.  They're uncommon.  We could only cut two from a side of beef.

That Porterhouse Steak is a thing of beauty!  Nice job.  My wife and I would be fighting over who gets the best part of that steak....the strip of course.
