Awesome shot! Is that a cherry orchard in the foreground?

Most of the orchards in the south valley are stone fruit, also almonds.  I am not really sure what they are, but I would guess by the way they are pruned nectarines.

I have climbed a lot of mountains in the Sierra Nevada's including a few winter ascents when the mountains looked like that. It is a great range and unique in that there is no road that crosses it for a couple of hundred miles. I think Sawtooth Peak is in that picture. I have climbed several mountains in that area, probably a few in the picture.

I was trying to figure out what part of the Range it was, but I had no luck figuring it out!  My guess was gonna be somewhere around Mineral King so you might be right on Sawtooth.

Sue said it was the view she saw every day from Visalia, so Mineral King is close.
