Mashed Potatoes and gravy - all the way!!

I grew up on Mashed potatoes that were a little too thin.
I prefer them on the thick side and a few lumps are fine and OK with me.
I mash them with some some sour cream - some spreadable cream cheese, white pepper, onion powder, butter and half & half.
 Keep 'em thick.
Sometimes they're so good you can almost forget the meat.

I have never really liked gravy so went with the Mac. Had there been a choice of just stuffing without the gravy would definitely choose stuffing.
I too never really liked gravy, so went with mac. I would have also voted stuffing, if I could have it sans gravy.

My favorite gravy is white we called it milk or pepper gravy. I saw it one time in a mix and tried it, just as good as scratch made, love dipping pretzels in it.

If I could get it at that price, it would be all most as special as a tuna fish sandwich!  I pay 4 times that amount and it is not for Dungeness...So it is rarely seen.  And good crab don't need no stinkin butter on it like that lowly Lobster!

In a week prices will be under $6.99 a lb and our grocery stores and fish markets will be flooded with fresh crab.

While I agree crab is special, I really do guys, but I certainly don't limit myself with it's preparation.

my mom makes the best roast beef and gravy, which when we see her down in Branson, Mo. she makes for me everytime!!! I do like stove top stuffing and use it frequently combined with crab meat and shrimp mixture inside a grilled rainbow trout!!

I bet it is good, but crab is to special for me...it must stand on its own, and be cold.  Maybe on rare occasion, some celery, mayo and a soft roll.

Then you would have enjoyed this 8.25" monster Dungeness which was one of the ten that we boated that day.

I like a good mac & cheese. That said I feel its boring alone. Tonight I made Mac n cheese, added some BBQ sauce & pulled pork to it & it was fantastic!

In the past I've also done BBQ sauce & brisket, crab, bacon bits & plain old hotdogs!
