the JEWEL controller

here's a pic of the GUI on the phone

I saw this thing being talked about on a FB group,   so I did a little diggint (I havnt had much luck finding info)
https://freedomgrills.bigcartel.com/product/fg-1-jewel

it looks to be a WIFI PID controller (not unlike the REC-TEC Wi-Pellet controller)
but it's supposed to be a direct replacement for Traeger style controllers)

I'm curious if anyone around here has tried it out yet?

I was going to get the Rec-Tec one,   but waited too long and it's now $200
so I was leaning towards getting the SS (but I want WiFi),   they said it will be upgradable to WiFi when they make it available
but this one looks interesting

mods,  I wasnt completely sure what section to put this into (it's not Traeger specific)

I'm usually cooking on a Traeger BBQ124, Traeger JR BBQ055 (SOLD), Traeger Texas BBQ075 (Father in laws), or a couple of SawTooth grills at my church

You have to realize we are a tiny group and this is a specialized product!  Will be happy to move it to the Traeger section if you want, as it is a replacement for their controllers I guess!
