World Champion BBQ
« on: February 04, 2019, 09:12:26 PM »

We stopped at Butcher BBQ near Wellston, Ok. on our way to OKC on Saturday.  Fantastic Q, as we sampled ribs, brisket, sausage and apple baked beans.  They have won the first at Jack Daniels in Pork, and Sauce and hundreds of other comps.  Served at an outside window and we ate it at picnic table under space heaters on a 50 degree day.  Here is a poor pic of just the Q after we had eaten our full.
On another note also see the pic of my new Sous Vide set up I put together today, and is on a test run on empty.

I forgot to mention that the sausage was fantastic.  Completely rendered but not dry and very smokey.
