Cooking Fork/ Lifter
« on: July 13, 2019, 12:02:44 PM »

I was searching a fish recipe that described lifting stuck fish off the grate using a " cooking fork ". This  concept is very similar to the lifter Grillgrates has...The idea has been with me for some time and

this got me going..A trip to the Thrift Store netted me a two tine stainless fork with the right dimensions do do the job. All I had to do was to bend it slightly upwards and add a hole in the handle for

a hanging loop, dull the tine points for safety, and a wash-up..All for $1..This improvised fork/lifter now hangs on the same hook as my fish spatula..

There is a thread here that shows how to do it, trust me on this, if I can ANYONE can. Sometimes I fight the pictures orientation but other than that no problem. Keep trying and then you can share your cooks also, look forward to it.
