It still amazes me that a group of ordinary citizens, armed with simple muskets and little else than the courage of their convictions, stood and fought against the mightiest military power of their day. They fought for what was right and dear to them. In our celebrations today, I hope to remember their courage and sacrifice and always, as a citizen, act in a manner that honors what they did.
