Pork Belly Burn Ends - First Attempt was a success!
« on: October 20, 2019, 01:44:55 AM »

I have never tried to cook them before, and I got it into my head that today was they day.

I used the recipe from Ralphie's post -> https://pelletfan.com/index.php?topic=2694.msg33089#msg33089

I followed the recipe, with the only difference being that I did the sealed foil cook for 90 minutes.

For the rub, I made up a bacth of Chris Lilly's Pork Shoulder rub - I noticed that my local store has them on a BOGO deal right now, so wanted to be prepared for the future as well....   :-)

These came out fantastic!   Will be a regular rotation item for me in the future for sure!

Those look awesome. Done lots of bellies but only bacon. Been so tempted to try these. Nicely done.

Everyone that makes them writes that they're fantastic.  Yours look wonderful.  IDK why I've not cooked them.
