First Snow
« on: January 07, 2020, 12:52:58 PM »

First snow of the season and year. We were suppose to get 1 inch or less, but it looks like we could get more. Although, who knows, it may also start raining by the end of the day. And it is to be nearly 70 on Saturday! Not sure what Sig thinks!

We have not had a snow like this in 4 years.  No drifts though, like the blizzard of 16'...There have to be members looking at this and just laughin their pants off...going, man that is 15 minutes worth of snowing here!    :pig:

Looks very beautiful and peaceful.

We only got up to 73° today.

I do miss the first snow as I used to live in Great Falls, MT and outside Battle Ground, WA.

I love freshly fallen snow as it looks so beautiful, however, I am not sure that amount will take 15 minutes at least at my age.

Love fresh snow, not so much the mess afterwards.
We have had a really weird winter, a month or so ago 8-9" before that nothing and nothing since. They do say we have a cold front with some snow headed our way sometime this weekend. We shall see.

We had some snow thru the night.  Just enough to make for some good scenery.
