Nothing exciting, just some ABT's
« on: March 07, 2020, 01:01:10 PM »

It is a clear, sunny day but man, the wind is blowing!!! In fact, it blew down power lines and we were without power for about 5 hours this morning. It is back on, so better to stay inside and not be swept away in the whirlwind. So making some ABT's/poppers. As always, Sigmund decided to supervise until he realized that I was not filling them with Charlie Bears. He did get a bit more interested when the bacon appeared. In the oven right now.

Cream cheese, pepper jack cheese and crushed pineapple. Forgot to take a final pic, we ate them too fast!

They look wonderful, great job.  I made some this past weekend for my sons send off to the Navy celebration.  I added little smokies to some and shrimp to others.  They were a big hit.  I am making a mental note on the crushed pineapple, interesting.

Some of the the 1st ABT's I ever had were with Little Smokies.  Back when some folks did them with whole Japs...
