New guy from Washington state
« on: April 30, 2020, 05:08:12 PM »

Hello! I was a lurker on Pelletheads from time to time. I've been working with a Green Mountain Jim Bowie for 5 years now and have really enjoyed it. I found this forum looking into a new sooting issue I have been running into lately. Thanks for putting this forum together!

I live in Enumclaw a small town by Mt. Rainier.  I checked the fan blades, they seem in tact.  I did however find that the combustion fan gasket has failed.  I ordered a new gasket and some high temp sealant.  Hopefully that takes care of the problem.
