Here is a pic of them in the smoker.  The one on the bottom got lazy and laid down.  I will probably get a rack since it makes it a lot easier...

I always take the biggest jalapenos I can find and stick them whole in the neck hole to help keep the moisture inside the body cavity.  We get some giant ones around here this time of year.  I have no idea if it helps or not, since I've never done a with and without experiment.

I've done that a time or three back in my younger days!  ???  :beer:

I also stick garlic cloves and pieces of onion in the can because I like the smell.  And I baste it occasionally with Italian salad dressing.  I haven't done one in a while and need to do another.  I can't remember if they are popular with the girls or not.  They want steak all of the time, but that's a luxury item with the current prices.  Pork and chicken and still reasonable here.
