I remember well. I was across the river in NJ one fine evening looking out over the water @ those magnificent towers. That was some sight!

Such a sad moment in history. God bless us all.

I had just walked my daughter to school and when I came home I saw the 2nd aircraft hit. I picked her at lunch and saw flight after flight overhead on final to YYZ. I work at the airport and I was back in briefly the next day, we were eventually sent home as things were shut down. I remember seeing aircraft parked nose to tail on taxiways and runways. I will never forget those lost this day.

We had just moved from NJ (I used to drive up the turnpike to EWR every day and saw those great towers) to the UK a month before.  I was on a flight from London Gatwick to Houston, which is a flight I will never forget.  Diverted to Halifax and was there for 5 days.  I did not see any tape of the event until about 2 am the following morning.  Sat at the end of the bed in the hotel and cried. A day we must always remember and treat with dignity.
