CDN Infrared Thermometer
« on: September 07, 2020, 04:21:05 PM »

CDN has an interesting thermometer that's a combination of IR thermometer and instant read probe thermometer.
  • Eight laser dots outline the area being temperature-measured as opposed to one laser dot that allows for overshooting the desired area.
  • The instant read thermometer probe folds from the handle like a jackknife blade in a fashion similar to the Thermoworks Thermapen.

Nice idea, guess they had to out-do ThermoWorks.
Being left handed, I have to use my right hand (or hold upside down) to see the display on the ThermoPen.
Not a problem, just an annoyance.
So an ambidextrous device is a good idea.

They may have had to wait for a Thermoworks patent to expire.
