Non-North American Members
« on: February 14, 2021, 11:29:52 AM »

I wish that we had a broader spectrum of active members.  I think it would be wonderful to be able to duplicate BBQ from Africa, Europe, Australia, etc., even USA Hawaii.

I looked at the PelletFan map, the only two non-North American members are inactive.

Do you know a pellet pit user from another country?  Please invite them aboard.

I think Bentley has a few Australian fans who post on here.  I thought there used to be a few from England too.

It would be nice.  Not sure if it is time differences that makes others from around the world not post as much.  Chris from the UK has not been around in quite awhile, and the Aussie guys never seem to post much, but they also have their own forum.

Doubt time differences is it.  There are many from UK, Australia, and all over that post daily on the Pizza Making forum.

Well, we are small, and do not have as broad an appeal as something like the Pizza forum.

I don't know about the other non-North American members, but I'm trying to produce BBQ in New Zealand that duplicates North American BBQ (I grew up in Texas).

The recipes and cooking threads are a fantastic resource and I try to contribute when I can....must have a look at getting on the member map.

Cheers, David

Thanks 02ebz06 and Bentley.  Now I'm on the map!

But you'll have to zoom out, then scroll all the way down to see me.

When you click on the link, it does not open up to the whole World?  Does for me.

And this is going to seem strange I am sure, but why not.  You do not know a Dr. Alan Shirly by any chance?

Bentley,

I know lots of Drs (I work at a University), but no Alan Shirly.
