Chick-Fil-A burgers?
« on: July 07, 2021, 08:18:12 AM »

Good to be back, job has changed and all my passwords were removed from my computer  >:(   So been fighting last few days trying to remember them (Lost cause let me tell you)  :rotf:

Anyway, I had a big group at the house this past weekend and burgers and hotdogs were being served.   As I was cooking it hit me I love pickles on my burgers so why not brine burgers in pickle juice?  Hey works for chicken right?  ;)

So here is a post I made the other day on another forum and Sir pmillen thought this would be good here, so here is a first at pickle brined burgers.....

A few years back I started to use pickle juice as a brine for chicken just like Chick-fil-A does and it works great.
As close to Thiers as I can get without using the breading.

So Saturday it hit me I have a chance to brine hamburger in pickle and see how it goes.

Well I took two patties and a little pickle juice let them soak for 12 hrs and wow it was good!  If you like pickles on your burger you will love this!

Sorry no finished pictures they were gone before I got to my phone!

Will have to give that a try.  Thanks for the tip.

As for your passwords, get a program called "KeePass 2".  It's free and comes from SourceForge, a safe place to get software from.
You can keep all you web site links, usernames, passwords, and any other information you want to keep for the site.
Then you only have one password to remember, the one to open KeePass.  ;D
You can copy the database file to a thumb drive and keep it someplace safe in case it gets deleted on the computer.

I've been using it for years.

Interesting about the pickle juice.  I'll have to give it a try.

Sweet pickle or dill pickle?  Full disclosure, I don't like dill pickles (although I can make great batches of them!)

"Sir", gee, that's a first.  (Maybe Tommy meant to spell it cur.)

Yeah, it intrigues me.  I've never brined a burger, and pickle juice wouldn't have made my short list.
