A lot of bbq feasts end with traditional desserts like peach cobbler or banana pudding. Here is a great banana pudding recipe.
Ingredients
• 2 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (set out to soften)
• 2 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
• 2 (7 ounce) large package instant vanilla pudding mix
• 2 cups cold milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 (16 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
• 8 sliced bananas sliced Use more bananas if you like
• 2 boxes vanilla wafers
Directions
1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in condensed milk, pudding mix, cold milk and vanilla until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping.
2. Line the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish with vanilla wafers. Arrange sliced bananas evenly over wafers. Spread with pudding mixture. Top with remaining whipped topping. Repeat process until all ingredients are gone. Usually two layers.
3. Save a couple handfuls of wafers in bag. Smash them up good and sprinkle on top all the way to the edges to make pretty and best of all to keep plastic wrap from sticking. Chill uncovered overnight or a few hours. It's best the next day. Giving time for the wafers to get soft.
