Oh my Gremlin. Back in the day I saw a few of them at the drag strip. If memory serves didn’t AMC offer a 401 ci motor?
That is a lot of stuffing in a small turkey.

 Fond memories: I had a Gremlin that I bought new. Forgot the year. It had a 304 CID V8 engine, heavy duty suspension and an auto trans. Blue

in color and a rear air deflector to help keep the rear window from building up with road dust. Not too bad for what it was.
