If You Want to Reduce the "Clutter" on this Forum
« on: October 03, 2017, 02:40:00 PM »

I saw this tip from pz and had to post it here so others could see and perhaps follow if they wish. Thanks pz!!!

I agree about the clutter, but that can be reduced by allowing users to collapse the areas they aren't interested in. I have GMG and Traeger. If I could collapse all of the other manufacture sub-sections I'd be real happy.

If you go into your Profile --> Modify profile, you'll see a menu item which allows you to ignore boards. You can then tailor exactly what you want to see.

Glad to be of help  ;)

One FYI: the posts in the ignored boards will not show in the list of new posts/ unread messages, but the boards themselves will still be in the list of boards so you can always go into the ignored boards if you choose to do so.

This is a great tip for those interested in narrowing things down.

The flip side is, you'll not see what you may be missing. I have the bottom dwelling Traeger, yet can't tell you how much I've learned by reading other 'manufacturers' posts.
