Zipper fix for RT-700/1250 cover
« on: May 28, 2022, 10:42:45 AM »

A family member with an industrial sewing machine did the zipper mod to my cover. It's super easy to get on and off now, this is the way it should be from the factory.

The zipper does make installing the cover easier. And yes the manufacturer could install one. However the zipper may be one of lesser quality &

the cover cost would increase.  It's about marketing: how much is a manufacturer/distributor willing to give away to acquire more sales?

I've used Velcro on some covers, but that was more to cinch it tight to keep wind from blowing it off, rather than ease of removal.
Guess it could be used for that too.
