Anybody familiar enough with San Antonio to recommend a decent Mexican Restraunt? Just passing through and am tired of my poor choices of places to eat in Texas. Thanks

Not Mexican food, but when we drove through a month or two ago we ate at the Little Red Barn Steak House - it was good and a lot of fun - big open barn vibe with long tables. Have a safe trip!

Thanks. I try and eat things on the road that I can't or do not want to do at home. Steak is one of those things after eating one at a restaurant I usually say, "coulda done better at home". But........that is one of the few things I can say that about.

The Little Red Barn is really good. I eat there often because it is as good as I can do at home. No smoke flavor but really tender sirloin steaks. Mi Tierra is a very good Mexican food place. It reminds me of going to Mexico to eat as a kid. Sometimes there is a mariachi band roaming around and playing. It is downtown if you will be in that area. The Margaritas are good too if you are so inclined. What part of town will you be in?

We're at the Alamo KOA RV park currently. Mi Tierra is fairly close, thanks, give it a try. The menus on line are definitely not the same kind of food back home. Thanks for the suggestions.
