Daniel Boone heat shield

Hello,

Anybody here know if the DB Prime/Ledge one piece heat shield will work in a DB Choice without extensive modification?

I guess the thing I need to know is why you would want to put a Prime heat shield in a Choice. Stove & Grill Parts For Less sells the P-1069 one piece heat shield for a Choice for $80.

The external dimensions are the same, but the underneath bits are different. The Prime shield is $20 cheaper, so you could make it work with a cutting wheel and a hammer? 🤷‍♂️
