Not so German Chocolate Cake
« on: August 24, 2024, 09:45:55 AM »

I made a not so German Chocolate cake.  I say not so German because it was named after an American Baker, whose last name was German.  He creative the baker's chocolate.  It is definitley one for those with a sweet tooth.  The topping is a pecan-coconut topping and the side is covered in a chocolate ganache.

Freeze a piece of that cake.  I will be heading to Baltimore/DC area Thanksgiving weekend and will swing by to pick it up. :P ;D

It looks wonderful!  Truly a cake that is more about the frosting then the cake!

I am not a big sweets guy, particularly anything chocolate.  That said, German Chocolate cake is my favorite. Something about the sweet coconut topping that does it for me!  Looks wonderful!
