I need to check to see what I have in the freezer.  From there I will decide what to make, but chicken wings will probably be happening

Seems like Memorial Day & Labor Day are always Cheeseburgers and Hot Dogs.  Beans, Cole Slaw and Potato Salad.  I don't like their funky family Boston Nasty to sweet baked beans (Grow up and try a Ranch Bean), and cole slaw is ok, but come on man, cole slaw (throw me a bone, put some pecans and bleu cheese in it).  I will make a small amount of macaroni and pasta salad for myself.

If we get to Costco this week, I may look for some beef ribs to go with the burgers and dogs.  I love beef ribs, but we never seem to find any good, meaty ones.  I will try and find some of those nasty ranch beans to go along with the lovely and delish Boston baked and I will set aside some potato salad fixins and cole slaw fixins for your version.

Oh, look at that gpasbbq, guess we are having 6 sides too! :o

If you haven't tried them... Costco 'Kirtland' brand Bratwurst are really good ( better overall flavor than Johnsonville ).  Almost certainly will be a few Kirtland Brats on my pellet grill over Labor Day weekend.

I have to second this, our Costco didn't have Johnsonvilles this year and I just tried their house brand they are really top shelf!

I just realized today I have a whole shelf in the freezer of frozen pre-smoked meats that I need to start eating.

Were keeping it simple this year, we have had the best sweet corn harvest I can recall in the past 20 years and I'm making about 40 pounds of Polish wedding style sausage (with garlic) on Friday.

The last of the corn is getting picked Saturday morning and I'm going to spend a couple hours with my PG 500 cooking it all in the husk and holding it in a cooler for later while the sausage smokes, may throw a couple porterhouses on to go with it as well.

 Cheers to all, I hope you enjoy the holiday with your families and loved ones.

No beef ribs at RD or Costco, no tri-tip at RD or Costco, so it is a simple cook of burgers and brats with lots of sides.
