This is from my Phone - Moto G6. It requires constant zooming in and out to get it large enough to read and navigate




In contrast, this is how PMDC shows up on my phone. No zooming required.

Download the dolphin browser. There is a setting on it for zooming while keeping the entire field of view on screen. I had other issues with the browser so don't use it anymore, but that feature was great for these type of sites. Give it a look.

I downloaded it about 8 years ago or so with my first smartphone,
didn't much care for it.

I just downloaded it last night for my iPhone

Not having to scroll right/left while zoomed in would definitely solve some of the problems. But I'm too embedded into the google landscape to switch from Chrome.  And you really have to zoom in a lot to be able to hit the navigation buttons accurately in the desktop view - with a mobile theme for SMF, navigation gets put into a hamburger menu which is much easier to use.

I've contacted the admin at PMDC to ask which theme they are using and will pass that info to LSFS when I hear back.

I installed / customized a new theme "Dani" which you can choose to run. Click on profile - modify profile - look and layout - current theme - change - choose Dani.

Thanks LSFS.  That theme displays better on the mobile device, but is crazy on the desktop.  I checked into the page source at PMDC and see they are using a mobile theme from SMF Mobile Theme:  https://www.smfmobiletheme.com/

It includes a script that switches to the mobile theme if it detects you're on a mobile device, otherwise your site's existing theme is used for desktop.

It's $10 for the standard theme, $15 for brand free use. I'm happy to pay for it just to give it a try.

Sorry, we have some over 90 year old uncles with some medical appointments and operations in Richmond and Bent has been chauffeur and I am trying to do some cooking for them.  He needs to drive again this morning, but I will try and discuss before he leaves.  We aren't ignoring folks, just have a few engagements that are a little more pressing.

Much thanks to LowSlowFoShow for enabling the SMF Mobile theme on this forum!!

The mobile theme presents a format that is easier to read and navigate when viewing this forum on a mobile device. If for any reason you prefer the standard theme on you mobile device, you can switch back to desktop view by click the Desktop View button at the bottom of the screen. If you ever want to switch back to mobile view, you can click the Mobile View text which appears at the bottom of the screen as well.
