That's what I mean though, so you are paying $18-$24/lb. for a hot link...I was definitely in the wrong business if a hot link commands that price! If I am paying $6, it had better be at least a half a pound link!
I understand the prices for beef and pork, you maybe losing as much as 50% of your product in cooking, so right there, your cost of meat has doubled, but a hot link, the cheapest cuts and virtually no loss...
