What can you do with the sear plate?
« on: February 08, 2018, 09:55:57 PM »

I have an early unit without the sear plate and I'm curious how well it works and what you can cook on it. The hole in the diffuser doesn't seem real big, so how many burgers or how much steak could I do at once? Does anyone know if it is available as a retrofit?

I have mainly used mine to grill with but it works plenty good for searing.

I use them all the time, the sear grates work awesome. Get plenty hot in FL-3 mode.
