I noticed on the RecTec owners Facebook page that people have started receiving the RT-700 Bull. 

The stainless steel looks nice.

I’m curious to know how low the temp will go on the Lo setting.

What was the originally advertised shipping period?  Are these early, late, on time?
Curious because I’m waiting on a Stampede RT-590 to be shipped in May.

I’ll do my best to document my use of it with pics, videos, and data.

Thanks Ralphie, the wait is tough, but oh soooo well worth it.  I am like Ross, very curious to hear/see how lo the temps can be set with the new controller.

I finally did it!!!!  Placed the order on Saturday.  After much research, trepidation and anxiety.... a RT700 has been purchased. 

I ordered the RT700 and Ridiculous Bundle... (Not sure that is what they called it.  ).  Got the cold smoker with a plan to use it more as a warming box (never seem to have things done at the same time). 

To address this post.  I was surprised to get a notice yesterday already they my shipment is being prepared.  I think mine might go out as early as next week.  So, they said mid-March and they appear to be on time, on target....

Super excited to use it (not so excited to assemble it).

My brain told me to wait for others and make sure there were no defects.  But... to late!

I have the RT680 with the smoker box. You are correct in saying warming box as it does not really get cold enough. Also there is a pretty big swing from the bottom of it to the top of it. But it is great for loading up with beans, or corn on the cob or something else while you are cooking in the main chamber. Works well for jerky too but you need to rotate them. I have jerky on frog mats so easy to rotate.

UPS called me yesterday.  It will be delivered next Wednesday.  Can't wait.  Unfortunately, will be about two weeks before i can assemble.
