I think if you have the app loaded on your smart device, it is pellet fan I or 1 never sure...and I am positive the password is pelletfanguest. I think if you log on to tappecue.net you can look right at either the temps or graph. I guess I need to make sure one of the IT guys on here helps me before I do anymore!

I am not sure what else to say!

EDIT!  www.tappecue.net  login in pelletfan17 and password pelletfanguest

You may need to capitalize the P and F in PelletFan17 but not in the password.  They seem to be case sensitive.

Turned it back to smoke.  Hope the wind dies down while I am at meeting and the temps and graph flatline and I see how low it can go.  It has a giant circular chimmny, but I still think the wind is effecting the temps.  I mean they are not swing much +-7° is pretty good for me.  But I still think the wind is a major factor.  It ALWAYS happens when I need it calm!  Has been no wind for the last 5 days!

I just copy/pasted, and it works just fine. Looks like a steady 160-170 so far, with all the probes pretty close together! If you fill it up with meat, would the cold mass of the meat bring the internal temp down?

What I saw a few minutes ago all 4 shelves were  within 1*, if it holds you shouldn’t have to worry about shifting food around for an even cook

I was just looking at the graph and that’s the same thing I noticed too
That’s impressive!

Picture of where probes are in reply #18...pretty even from top to bottom.  Your other question will be answered in next few days as I will be doing many more and variable temp tests with probes in many different places on various levels, with water in the drip pan to simulate load and another pan of water on shelves!

Sorry about the punctuation on password

I don't believe that is the case. When Bentley did the boiling water test, 2 probes read 210, and 2 read 211. That leads me to believe that the temp is identical on all 4 grates. Impressive indeed!

At about 6:30 EDT, temps dropped to the 140s. Maybe the wind died down? The personal weather station on Winston Rd. shows 12 mph winds from the SW, though. Wow, you guys are warm! Must be nice......

We went up over 20 degrees from yesterday and tomorrow I think we drop about 15. Just strange weather right now.

Turned to 225° at 9:05.  Will run for the time it takes me to do a few things, will then end, print the graph and put it up and start again tomorrow!

I will ask you 3 since you spoke up.  Do you have a preference where the grates are placed in the unit?  If so, there are 20 holes and 5 shelves so you know.  I cant seem to find the quote of the 3rd Member, but you know who you are!

Don't forget left and right, top and bottom, and middle grate temps to test temp differences.

A few graphs of smoking temps over an hour or so at say 250. Just curious how well that controller stays in a range.
