my boss approved a forno bravo for our outdoor kitchen and I have never regretted the decision.  I would be interested in seeing this operate as it is a pretty good price point

I take back all of my negative comments about this oven that I typed without using it. It works waaaaay better than I anticipated.

My Blackstone burned out, and has unfortunately been put in the dumpster after grabbing the stones to save. I want to eventually get a forno bravo oven, but may need to wait a bit on that. In the meantime I figured I'd try out the Sam's club pizza oven. I did not have high hopes. Visually, there seemed to be some major flaws. Most of my fears were put to rest after one use. Don't think I've ever had better results from the inaugural cook on a piece of equipment.

Split some splits I had in the wood pile, and fired up after a very brief setup period.

First pizza was the kids bbq chicken. I like cooking at about 650 stone temp. I hit it about right. Cooked very fast with the active flame.

Half pepperoni, half buffalo chicken

Calzone with ricotta, and soppresata.

Was a big fan of the Blackstone, but really think I'm going to have fun with this little $379 oven. Thanks for looking.

I thought when I 1st saw it that it would be a winner!  I just could not seem to get a sense of its size and capacity.  Is the size of your fire in the 3rd to last  picture about what you need to be around 700°?

Way cool and just as nice having another FMT cook.
Glad it's working out, look forward to more cooks.

I think it was around 680 when I put that one on. The floor cools pretty quickly if you let the flame go out and cook with coals. If you keep the flame going it holds 700-750 very well. As expected with the price, the heat retention is it's weak spot. It's better than I thought it would be, but not terrific.

That's probably around a 14" pizza in the first pizza pic. You could most likely squeeze a 16" pie in there. I would gladly trade the ash grate for another tile. It's already warped, and the tiny pieces of coal don't fit through the grate so you have to shovel out anyway.

Very interesting cooker.  I couldn't tell you when I last had a pizza, so probably not for me.  Those pics do make me hungry for a pizza though.

Wow, those pizzas look amazing!
Don’t want an oven but at that price it makes a great case for one!
