Not a ton of options for BBQ but a lot of good restaurants.

Smoke in the Pit

Baker's Ribs

Q Fanatic

I you like seafood I'm a big fan of Smack Shack in the Warehouse district.  The lobster roll is outstanding.

Smoke In The Pit - take out only though,   FireBox Deli  - havent been here but my friend says its pretty good.  As far as other restaurants, anything in paticular you are looking for?  American? Vietnamese, Italian, etc.

Lots and lots of good restaurants.  I agree with Pizzeria Lola, but would also recommend Marla's Caribbean Cuisine in Minneapolis.

The Nook makes a really solid burger and should be within 10 minutes or so of downtown St Paul. They made Guys top 10 Burgers on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives if that means anything.

It's not American but Cosetta's and DeGidio's are really good and very close.  Kincaid's is more expensive but pretty good. Great Waters Brewing Company is descent.
