I was googling to see what had happened to PH, and I found a mention of PelletFan on Smoking Meat Forums.

I've since posted a link at BBBQS (British BBQ Society) forums, as although pellet users are in the minority there, there are still a few of us. No idea if anyone will show up here.

Given the length of time the other site has been down... I wouldn't be surprised if more and more people start finding Pelletfan...  still baffled by the other site's long offline status.

After 25 years, I don't think we are more then 5% of the market here!

...BBBQS (British BBQ Society) forums, as although pellet users are in the minority there, there are still a few of us.

And baffled is a good word for what happened to PH!

If it ever does come up, someone do me a favor and tell me the average pages views for Jan 2010 and how many overall there were for that months!

I did a Google search for the old website's name since it was down for weeks and confined the search results to the past month.  The search results contained a post from someone looking for the same thing.  Someone responded with a link to this site.

As I commented to some web-savvy friends on Facebook, it seems to me that "an investment [in a] valuable URL might be wasted. The value is all in the people."

If it ever does come up, someone do me a favor and tell me the average pages views for Jan 2010 and how many overall there were for that months!

Not quite what you asked for, but on January 8, 2010, there were 12044 posts on 1239 topics, and 4484 members.

The first snapshot I can find is December 6, 2007. 1079 posts on 147 topics and 85 members.
A month later, January 6, 2007 - 1142 posts on 155 topics and 94 members.
A month after that, February 6, 2007 - 1311 posts on 173 topics and 100 members.
