My goodness Kristin, a fellow UCSD-er! I did my undergraduate work at UCSD many decades ago.

I'd be glad to - it really is not that hard.  ;)

Fourth/Warren College, Class of 1979.  No wonder you are a computer whiz, you were one of those bright people who looked at me and said "History?  Why are you studying history?" ???

;D almost the same ... class of 1980 though. Like you, I started when it was called called Fourth and finished when they changed the name to Warren - small world  ;)

And I did mine a few decades before you .... That's why we need the pictorial tutorial, PZ

;D ... as long as I can remember how to do it!

Admins - please move, delete or otherwise dispatch with this mini tutorial as you see fit. I'm not exactly sure where this should belong.

Please see the image below for instructions on how to format a link tag for a clean display in your posts:
The general steps:
  • Go to the post you wish to reference, and right click it's title, then copy that link address to the clipboard
  • Go back to the post where you want to embed the link and start a new reply or post.
  • Click the second button from the left in the second row (see image below) to place a basic URL tag.
  • Enter the appropriate information following the example you see in the image below

The image shows a step-by-step with each one color coded. Treat each code line in the image below as the nest step in the process.

Queball's Mojito Chicken

Success!!  Ah, pz, where were you in the Spring of 1976 and my horrid punch card computer programming class?  Who knows, with this kind of help, I might have been Steve Jobs before he was.

 ;D

One last tidbit - if you put an "i" in front of the url tag as in the example below, the link will open in the same tab - useful if you want the reader to go to the new link rather than have it open in a new tab. "iURL" is an abbreviation for inline URL.

Code: [Select]

Kristin,
Neat point to use a cup as a mold to form the bacon and the dish. Chicken and bacon are a pair made in heaven. Both yours and the bacon wrapped thighs look great!

Queball, the 3 cheese with the bacon wrapped is mowin's entry.  I am doing mine today.  It will look pretty pedestrian next to those already posted!

Sorry! Mowin .... Just dumb as dirt. ..... Love your cook! The assembly idea is clever and once the bacon goes off it's a firm cup. I like it. That should be applicable to a lot of stuff. ...... I'll bet that was a tasty cook!

Thanks, but I in good conscience can't take credit for the idea.  I'm not that creative.  Lol

I seen a show several yrs ago where they used a bowl as a form.

But yes, it was very good. The stuffing options are endless.

My offering is pretty simple -- a return to the "blue plate specials" of the old diner days, Chicken a la King.  Grilled the chicken on the Memphis Pro and baked my little puff pastry shells on the Pro also.   Full disclosure, I thought I had the big shells and was surprised to find these were mini.  I just forged ahead and made more of an appetizer than an entree!!!  I did change the recipe a bit.  I used green peas and carrots in place of the green peppers because I like those better.

Compared to a lot of you folks, my photo skills are poor, but hopefully you can get the feel.
