Paella Pan
« on: July 15, 2018, 12:26:19 PM »

I am looking to buy a paella pan however I do not want one that will even remotely rust which leaves out carbon steel and can be used on a pellet grill and on induction stovetop.  So I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on which one to purchase?
Thanks

I bought an enameled pan myself back in 2005.   It has held up well.   I got mine from this site

We use both a carbon steel paella pan and wok. If you oil after washing and drying there is no problem with rust. You might prefer a stainless pan but they are more pricey.

For induction stove tops a flat bottom pan is recommended as traditional pans are slightly convex. https://www.paellapans.com/Flat-Bottom-s/31.htm

La Tienda sells stainless paella pans in several sizes.
