A local grocer (Publix) has choice standing rib roast on sale for $7.99. Is this a good price? Also was does "Boned and Tied for Easy Carving" mean?

Not a bad price for USDA Choice, although I swear the USDA Choice at Costco always seems better then any other place I have bought it, Restaurant Depot, Walmart, Safeway and Food Lion!

I checked at Costco and everything they had was way to big. I don't remember what the cost was per pound.

I don't shop at Costco so not sure on their policy but I do have a Sam's Club membership and a few years back I asked and it was no problem, asked me the size and date wanted and it was ready and waiting.
It will! It is big enough to cook nicely, and you will have some leftovers. People say I ask stupid questions, but I will anyway. Do you like roast beef, and do you have a slicer?
