I did not, but I will try to watch Season 2. If they start saying Roll Tide to much I won't watch it.  :)

I think I will dvr it and see what it’s about. It can’t be bad if it’s about barbecue.

I will watch it then.  :)

You have to understand the Nick Saban factor in not liking Alabama.

I downloaded and watched season 1 off Amazon.
MY opinion, it was very redundant. Not much substance as far as recipes, cooking process etc.

If you watch the first episode, you pretty much seen them all.
Unless they ad some substance I doubt I watch season two.
And I love Pitmasters, Smoked, Pit Wars

I watched the season Premier and from a non-competition guy it wasn't very interesting.  The teams aren't well presented.

I think the difference with Pitmasters is how prominently they showed the broad spectrum of teams in season 1.  Johnny Trigg was an old master cooking on a Jambo pit, Harry Soo was a California guy cooking on Weber Smokey Mountains, Lee Ann Whippen on her Big Green Egg plus other, and then there was Myron Mixon - the king of the hill that everyone, especially Tuffy Stone, wanted to knock off.

I agree in that I feel Season 1 of Pitmasters was a better show. For me I lost interest in Pitmasters when they stopped covering them on the BBQ circuit. I think BamaQ is trying to pick up on this. Having said that I feel its worth a watch but can use improving.

I think there were more commercials than the show.
