Yes I have a stuffing plate with my grinder. My biggest problem was pushing the ground up meat down the grinding head/tube. Now this was my first time using the unit so I had nothing to compare it to.

They tell you if problems with feed to put in freezer to stiffen up. Just dont let freeze solid.
