What's really sad, is that unless you are on the extreme edges of this, your not likely to find any good political candidates worthy of voting for.

Ding.  Ding.  Ding.

Probably could use a 3rd party but the economics of that happening are really slim unless the billionaires subsidize it with mega donations.

I wish there had been a choice called "Neither agree nor disagree", because some of the questions were not so black and white for me.

My scores are near the majority that responded to this thread, barely in the lower left quadrant. I think some of the questions are vague, others tend to lead the test taker to a conclusion that doesn't align with their core beliefs(perhaps that is the point).

According to this test I fall exactly in the middle of everything. There is no doubt in my mind as to which way politically the author of the test leans.

That was my thought on the first page of questions, so I didn't bother going to the next page.  I don't really need a test to tell me where I am politically anyway..lol.  I'm someone who reads the news from both sides, because I don't believe you get the whole picture from your nightly news.   This means I watch stories from Fox news as well as cnn.  I read stories from the Drudge report as well as from Huffington post.  Most of the major news outlets (with perhaps the only exception being fox news) lean fairly heavily left in their reporting.  You don't really get this unless you read stories from both sides.  Sometimes it's tough to read stories I completely disagree with, but sometimes you find things left out of stories that lean your way politically.

I think if a was college age, I would find out what you need to study to be a pollster (stats? math? political theory? psychology? sociology? a bit of all?) and try and make that my career.  I think it would be fascinating.  I also wonder if pollsters "force" a black or white answer to get to a person's core belief with no shading or greyness.  I don't know because I know nothing of creating political/economic polls.

I found this very entertaining and a little biased.   But my take away (even though most all of us were barely into the green) is that if you drew a modest sized circle right in the cross hairs, you'd account for most all voting Americans.  So what's with all the extremism and are we back to the silent majority?   No politician that I've seen in the media or up for office in this cycle is right there in the middle where we need them to be.

That's about as political as I'm going to get on the internet  ;)

I side with Kristen on this. I think I had a question or needed clarification on most all of the questions. Many of them had me asking WTH kind of question is that? I think I took this test half a dozen times, and saw it was amazing how a 'strongly' vs the regular version is.

I consider myself pretty conservative, so I was amused with my classification.

After reading from the other members, I would ask... If this were a target at a firearms range; where would you fall in as opposed to a square block?

You summed my experience perfectly. Just didn’t know how to say it correctly. Thanks.

Silent voters is what sent Clinton packing and i'm kinda wondering if the same happens at mid-terms, We need to get off the extreme Left/Right cycle and move back to center. IMHO
