I love a ribeye, that's for sure, but I'd get the alpen cut prime rib in a heartbeat.

Haha...obviously you were not in Chicago were the price of steaks at most restaurants is double that price and all sides are a la cart.  I usually always get a NY strip steak.  I get the filet mignon if it is bone-in.

If I knew in advance how good the fish and chips were, I would go for that.  Reason -- Bent does a great job on prime rib and rib eye steaks, so if I am going out I want something that we really don't do at home.   But I am pretty picky about fish and chips (same with chicken fried steak), so if I did not know, I would go with the rib eye.

I'm with Kristin.  I can get the best steaks at home.

Fish and chips, or the Chicken shortcake if it was a cold evening.  Not a big straight up steak or prime rib person.  I love beef, but not necessarily on the plate by itself.

I lean towards things we can’t do good at home. Fish and chips.

Rib eye. Just so I could brag how much better the ones I do on the Camp Chef are!

I miss a good free dinner! Now that we are retired I watch all the MEAT sales (and veggies also). I'm not so desperate yet that I am willing to attend the free dinners given at local steak houses by annuity salesman. Unless you all can convince me?

If the company is paying I'd get the Holland Cut, but if I went to the restaurant on my own ticket I'd go elsewhere - kind of expensive.  ;D

Exactly what I did! Kinda..

I was disappointed...A nicely seasoned steak off my direct heat GMG is WAAY better.
