It has been a lousy fall -- if there even has been one. We had temps in the 90's until the first week of Oct.  Then a real cold snap for a few days. Then about 2 weeks of fall like weather and then back to cold -- several nights at 25 which is really cold here for this time of year.  And always lots of rain.  So stuff is just soggy, the leaf color was non-existent, and it is terrible to try and work in the garden.  And this morning sleet and ice! Here is hoping for a better fall 2019.

In Indiana, we had only about 1 week of spring this year. Late winter ran into summer.
Now it's the same with fall - summer ran right into winter with about a week of fall!

Same here.  The grass didn't even burn up in August like normal because we had so much rain.  I think we are about to set a record for most rainfall in a year/season.  Although, we did get some nice Fall colors.  My wife drove from PA to MS a few weeks ago and said the colors were beautiful along I-81 in Virginia and then I-40 in TN.

Great day today...soon to be snow, then sleet, then freezing rain, then heavy rain.  Just hope it turns to all rain with no ice left on the roads before I leave for the airport tomorrow and hoping my flight isn't delayed.

Went from 90s to 20s in about two weeks here; thought we were going to have some nice fall color this year, then we had about 5" of rain a couple of weeks ago. Last night and today, we got a quarter inch of ice, topped with about an inch of snow.

Fall kinda fell into winter here.....

I would rather have the cold weather than the hot weather.  I can always put more clothes on if I have to go out.

I whole heartedly agree, that's why I spend May/June  through August/September cruising the waters of the Northwest.

Had 9" today west of St. Louis. That's on top of the 2.5 earlier this week and one inch the end of last week. That's more in one week than we've had in a combined total over the past four years!! And I still need(ed) to mow one more time...

It's the best time to be in Phoenix, 74/47 this week.       The JB goes to the back patio and the DC goes to the fishing and travel staging area of the garage.

In Maryland we had 9" of snow yesterday, unusual before Thanksgiving!

Woke up to about 10” of snow here this morning.  Called our plow guy since we’re not plowed out yet. He said they were still paving driveways day before yesterday and were caught by surprise with amount. No fall to speak of here either. Went from 80’s one week to 20’s next week with snow.
