To me, it was a burger.  I like mined cooked on a grill with a little char.  Memphis Pro is preferred over a griddle, but that is me.

I have not made a grilled cheese sandwich in years, but that one looked great!

It was for Kristin, but it looked good.  I would think this thing would be a quesadilla making machine!

I will maybe have some scrambled eggs and home potatoes for dinner, have some tenderloin defrosting.  I will be cutting the steaks thin, as I just don't believe a 1 1/2 inch tenderloin can be fully cooked on a griddle without ruining it, and I an't destroying $14/lb meat for anyone!

That should wrap it up!

Will get it cleaned and sent to the Winner!

Thanks Bentley for all of the insight into its utilization, the videos were very helpful. I read online that it is compatible with my Traeger Select and am looking forward to giving it a spin.

Bentley, does this sound like a good starting plan for startup of the grill for the BBQ Hack Griddle.

1) Insert griddle into grill, level, etc.
2) Turn on grill at 250° controller temp and close lid
3) Open grill within 5 minutes after grill hits set temp and take temp of griddle with IR gun
4) If grill over 400° let lid open for 5-10 minutes to see where griddle temp stabilizes
5) Adjust controller setting +/- to get griddle to 350°-375° temp near center of griddle

Any other thoughts on getting griddle to 350°-375° temp for use?

I think I would start at 200° and would test as soon as the controller reads that.  Don't be afraid to start cooking at 400°, the heat will bleed a little any way.    And I think it depends on what you are cooking, and to a lesser extent how.  If I am grilling vegetables, cheese steak, bacon or a dog, don't really care if I start and I do some cooking as it comes up to temperature.  Burger, pancakes, egg, etc, something that needs a certain temperature, a different story.

Sounds good.  I thought it would be good to document a procedure for those that may buy one may have a starting point.  Thanks for the update.

After the sear I turned it into a Beef Tenderloin Cheese Steak.  Everyone should get to have a Tenderloin Cheese Steak once in their life!

Daniel Boone set at 225° and steak sear on hottest part center front @ 570°

You are having too much fun.  It looks like you are enjoying this testing.  If so, I am glad that what you are doing for us is giving you some enjoyment too.  This has been a really helpful review at least for me.

I will post the video I just did using it on the gas kitchen stove with the eggs and potatoes, you are on your own for the French toast!  That is it, it is a good product!

Very good product!  If you enjoy cooking on a griddle and use your pellet unit a lot outside, you will love cooking on this product!  I had no idea how much I enjoy cooking on a griddle!
