Hopefully the current videos answer the questions posed?  If not and you all want to see something, post, other wise I will finish cooking the foods folks ask for and we will get it cleaned and shipped out!

Might have been a bad weekend with Fathers Day to cook and show videos, no one appears to be watching them, and that is fine, my ego is not that big.  But I do have a bunch of landscaping and tractor work to do, so I may not get back to this till the end of the week!

Thanks for the videos.  Very helpful.  Looks like unit worked great.  A few requests.

Can you document somewhere on here the temp test you did at the different locations on the griddle in the video you did?  That way we don't have to watch the video every time to get an understanding of the temp at different locations on the grill.

What temp was controller and the temp on center of griddle when you did the peppers, onions, mushrooms, if you remember?

For future cooks, can you document the controller and griddle temp?

Thanks!  You are doing a great job.  I hope you are enjoying using the griddle and eating the food.

250° and about 360°.

I thought I was in the videos. but I will try and be more cognizant of it!

You have mentioned it alot in the videos.  I just think it would help those considering the unit if you also document it in the thread so that it is there for future reference.  Thanks again!

It also be interesting to see how much this differs from grill to grill depending on the exhaust and air flow system of each grill.  Although the website says this should not be an issue as the heat is supposed to come up underneath the griddle from the firepot and then spread across the griddle.

The pits that dont manage air and are a straight feed to temperature controller might have an advantage in keeping the griddle temps even.  I wish I had a pit to test the hypothesis on!

I am curious as to how this will compare to the 17" Blackstone griddle.  I have this mainly to use on our trips in our RV.  By the compatibility list is looks like it will not work with Traeger Junior, but it will work with my GMG DB.  It would be easier to use on the DB instead of digging out the Blackstone and propane tank to use at home out of the RV.

Did you ever make the cheesesteak or did you just grill the vegetables?

OK, so I go out, I cook bacon, hash browns, pancakes and scrambled eggs...and the stinking battery runs out as I am inside getting the eggs.  Oh well, I did not like the way they came out anyway!  Video of the bacon, potatoes and pancakes up in a few!

I see why some of you all love your Blackstone and Camp Chef griddles, I would go camping with people who had those and gladly say I will cook all Breakfasts!

Trying to get these videos as short as possible, but not as easy as it seems.

Sounds and looks like you were having some fun making breakfast.  Sure looked good.  French toast would probably be great too.

The videos and temperature data have been very helpful.

Can anybody provide insight into what temps you would want the griddle surface to be for different foods?  Whether it's a stove top or grill, I'm used to low, medium, high, etc.

I'm trying to translate the temp data into practical terms.  Thanks

From what I have read most places keep their griddle top in the 350°-375° range.

I bought one to put in the right side of my Traeger XL and it should be here this week I would suspect.  Once I get the new igniter rods installed and figure out the auger clunking noise on the Traeger, I plan to semi-permanently keep this griddle inside the grill on the right side and keep the left side for smoking.

I will do some experimenting on temps in that unit then with this griddle.  I just had the thought of smoking wings on the left side and then throwing them on the hot griddle to crisp before putting sauce on them.  Will be curious to see how that may work out.
