They are out there and are electric I just thought some in our group has used their slicer for cutting cheeses bread and meats

I would think a slicer with a serrated blade would work on a loaf.  It could not be to soft, but it should work.  Such a nasty day here, I will try and make some white bread now and take a video for you!

Edit: Amazing, for once I had all the ingredients.  Kneading right now, 3 hours of rising, proofing and baking and we will have a loaf of bread to slice.

I think virtually any slicer will do it!

Slicing bread on ChefsChoice 610 w/serrated blade.

That worked much better than I thought it would with the Chef's Choice slicer.

I had no idea dogs like bread either. Yours must be pretty well trained to not steal the slices behind the slicer.

I think the pup may have been growling at him and he was afeared for his life so he gave up the slice to save himself.
