Sig was with another raiser for a month and went to work with her each day.  She is in school admin and has a staff of 11 and they were very good to Sig and helped in his socialization and training.  He now knows how to behave in a work environment.

So Sigmund wanted to throw them a little thank you party and is taking them some pulled pork, potato salad, cole slaw and chocolate cake on Wednesday for lunch.  He is already busy supervising the prep of the butts.

He's being very well-behaved.

They have an extraordinary sense of smell.  Can you imagine what our food smells like to them?  It's a wonder that they all aren't counter thieves.

Prepping the Picnic's...No molasses, was bummed.  Had to use the last two tablespoons of King Syrup, just not the same.  Hot cook, 315° for X hours, I am hoping about 7.

For anyone interested in cooking data.  Memphis Pro set at 315°, IT at start of 33°, 2.5 hours in, IT 125°.

Awesome Dog!  I have a soft spot for yellow labs.

Not to change the subject, but those cubicles make me cringe.  Nothing like staring at your neighbor, with your face a few feet apart, when you are both working at your computer....and the whole germ thing with every cough or sneeze is awful.  It makes my phobias all start kicking in at once.
